This commission build was to build a 7ft Grand Piano 'shell' to be fitted with a keyboard as a stage prop in an Elton John tribute tour for greggieandthejets.com. Designed to break down for transport, the internal framework was built using solid studding timber to be able to stand up to some on stage abuse and was cladd with MDF including bendy MDF for the curvy edges. Multiple coats of oil based white paint create a hard wearing but shiny gloss finish to have real stage presence
