I have a new addition to the workshop a wood working lathe and so decided for my first project I would use it to turn some square stock to make some legs for a stool. I used my CNC to carve the targaryen sigil from the Game of Thrones onto a solid pine base and then attached the legs.  After using red dye to paint in the dragons I used shellac to seal the stool before applying oak stain to get the desired colour. I can see the lathe becoming quite addictive and adding another facet to my workshop offerings
