This piece was custom designed for use in a space theme man cave as a functional coffee table with a useful drawer included.

Inspired by many films and games from the genre such as Alien, Star Wars & Fallout.

 

The main cupboard is made from 18mm MDF and has many layers of laser cut decoration applied including an information panel with warning signs and classic scifi genre details.

The drawer is made from birch plywood both for strength and to give a warm contrast to the stark white exterior on push hinges to avoid the need for a handle, simply push it in to pop the drawer out

 

The paint job was kept a simple gloss white with only the corporation name and the info panel adding any colour.
