Helping create a custom Sci-fi room

For many years we have produced a wide range of sci-fi themed décor that is available 'off the shelf' but recently we have been fortunate enough to work with a couple of clients on helping them create their custom vision of a sci-fi room in their own homes.

working with both clients was very different but good in their own way. The first client from the USA had a very clear layout in mind for their central command console as they had already been fitting the room out with panels & lighting.

Their vision was for a wall section to be full of switches, buttons, displays and greebles as well as wanting to incorporate an iPad that the could display their own videos own, to really bring the spaceship control wall vision to life. This is shown in the photos below:

I was given very specific measurements for each section as well as detailed layout requirements and multiple reference images to work with. Luckily I was able to achieve most of this directly with only a few adjustments for the limitations of what I could actually produce on our equipment were agreed via Email communication.

The whole designing process took a few weeks but that meant that when we were ready to start making we had ironed out most of the kinks and the manufacturing took about 2 - 3 weeks in total.

I think the client did an amazing job with the room as he had done all the structural, painting and lighting work with the control panel sections I provided just added the finishing touch

The client was thrilled with the end result and as you can see from the pictures it really does look authentic.
